"The Holiness of God"
Sunday Morning June 6, 2010
SOMETHING SPECIAL
Song "I Will Rise"
featuring Norman Carter on guitar and lead vocals,  Kim and John Carter on vocals,  Rebecca Hutchinson on piano, Leslie Hutchinson on violin and vocals.

Do you know what you believe?

Can you explain to someone else what you believe and why?

Many Christians can share their faith with someone when the opportunity arises.  However, when confronted with the harder questions we tend to back down or cower.

We will begin a new, indepth Bible study on Sunday nights during the evening worship time that will give us the ammunition to go into any situation and defend what we believe.

There are two areas of concentration on which we will focus:

THEOLOGY

APOLOGETICS

Theology is first the activity of thinking and speaking about GOD and second the product of that activity (the theology of a certain person or denomination).

Apologetics is the systematic argumentative discourse in defense (as of a doctrine) or a branch of theology devoted to the defense of the divine origin and authority of Christianity

This study will begin soon and will continue for many weeks.

If you miss one, don't worry.  There will be hand outs and study guides as well as CD recordings of each session so you will be able to catch up.  It will be a great tool for future reference.

If you have a desire to know more and dive deeper into your faith, come be part of our Sunday night Bible Study.
